Just about one week left before we begin to accept hard drives for this year’s DC27 mass duplication event! We've been working hard behind the scenes and have added dozens more drive bays! We've crunched the numbers and will have about 145 drive bays working to duplicate over 500 drives this year!
Are you wondering what type of drive to bring? What type of drives are most reliable? Take a look at our previous year’s captured data on drive quantities and failures.
Be sure to get your drives now and drop them off early (FIFO).
Less than a month to go! The Data Duplication Village has closed its Call for Papers and Call for Volunteers.
Even with an extra 2 weeks for submissions, there were not enough presentations to hold talks this year (and the allocated space isn’t ideal for it) so we partnered with other villages to make sure that those who submitted are presenting in other villages!
We have some great volunteers ready to go this year so be sure to thank them when you visit!
We’ve added 2 weeks to the CFP deadline - the new deadline is June 30th. If you didn’t submit your talk because you thought you missed it, you’ve been given a reprieve. Submit your presentation with the link below:
