DC31 is almost here! The final preparations are underway and the data is now clear - this will be the last year that we can fit everything in 6TB drives!
We’re still using 6TB sources for this year (DC31) but next year (DC32) will be an 8TB drive year - plan accordingly!
That’s right, expect to use 8TB drives for Def Con 32 in 2024!
If you’re out to purchase new drives for this year and get 8TB drives now, those will work great for this year too! See you in Vegas!
It’s almost been another full rotation of the sun! DC31 is coming up! The Call for Volunteers and Presentations are still open for another week so get those submissions in to be one of our Speakers or Staff today!
The duplicators are hung by the head chimney with care in hopes that many @defcon hackers soon will be there.
All our volunteers and speakers are ready! The planning is essentially complete! Looking forward to seeing everyone in the 2022 #DC30 #dcDDV with talks, another round of presentations, dedicated duplication area, and even a hangout space. By this time next week, there will be 500-600 new copies of data out there!
